Our Story

The spark for this business began over two decades ago. A young Nichelle and her grandmother spent hours dreaming up a future greeting card company. While that specific childhood business plan never fully launched, the entrepreneurial spirit and passion for crafting never left.

In 2018, that passion found its perfect tool when Nichelle received a Cricut machine. What began as crafting custom shirts and vibrant decor for family and friends quickly blossomed. To share these unique creations with a wider audience, the business officially launched on August 27, 2019, originally operating as Chelle’s Creations in San Antonio, Texas.

 

The Evolution: Becoming Your "Purple Niche"

As the business grew, it became clear that creating custom, one-of-a-kind pieces wasn't just a hobby—it was a true calling. To reflect this evolution, the business rebranded to Purple Niche, LLC.

The new name carries a deeply personal meaning:

• The Name: "Niche" is a direct play on Nichelle’s name, representing her personal stamp on every item.

• The Color: Purple is Nichelle's absolute favorite color, bringing a bold, royal, and creative energy to the brand.
